Pupcakes for Presley







The Recipe:


2 ripe bananas (mashed)
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1/4 tsp ginger
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup ground flax seeds
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp non-aluminum baking powder
1/4 cup pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds)

Mix ingredients in order until combined. Allow to set for 5 minutes. Spoon into cupcake tins. Bake at 350 for 18 minutes


Peanut butter Icing:


1 5.3 oz container Plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup Peanut butter
1 tbs Agave nectar
1tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp (dash) Ginger
Bacon bits (garnish)
Mix ingredients in order reserving the bacon bits for sprinkles. Make sure everything is well incorporated. Then spread or pipe on the pupcakes after they've cooled and top with the bacon bits for a special furbaby birthday treat!
